West Vancouver Schools (SD45) are balancing distinct demographic challenges with a strong reputation for academic innovation. As we know, high regional housing costs and shifting demographics are creating persistent pressures on enrollment, which means that the District must continuously adapt its operational model and budget allocations.
To offset these demographic headwinds, the District needs to turn challenges into strategic opportunities by expanding our pioneering International Student Program and developing specialized programs. This strategy will help to draw students from across the North Shore and around the globe.
By pairing rigorous academic frameworks like International Baccalaureate and Advanced Placement with modern digital literacy initiatives, our schools will continue to maintain top provincial graduation rates while navigating fiscal complexities.
