I am running for West Vancouver School Trustee to preserve our tradition of academic excellence using strategic governance and policy leadership. With experience as a PAC member and board director, I offer evidence-based solutions, fiscal clarity, and a collaborative spirit.
Deeply rooted in our community, I understand the successes and specific challenges our district faces. I currently serve on the École Cedardale Parent Advisory Council and hold board roles with both the West Vancouver Historical Society and the West Vancouver Community Arts Council. During seven years as a Transportation Planner for the District, I championed secure school routes and led multimodal safety projects, including the Pedestrian Network Study which prioritized safety in school zones.
My career as a professional planner is defined by bringing people together to solve complex issues. My work on various provincial and local non-profit boards has built a firm foundation in ethical governance and collective accountability. As your Trustee, I will listen to your concerns, ensuring community voices guide the policies that support our students, families, and residents.
I view our schools as safe, forward-thinking centers that prepare students for a changing world. I also advocate for smart investments in our infrastructure to provide the modern learning environments needed for academic growth and lasting student achievement.
